Texas Instruments (TI) (NYSE: TXN) and PolyCore Software, Inc. (PSI), the leader in multicore communications software solutions, today announced that PSI’s development tools and runtime software will support TI’s multicore digital signal processors (DSPs). Working together, these products are expected to simplify the deployment of multicore applications in the market and promote the Multicore Communications API (MCAPI) standard. MCAPI provides an industry standard, platform agnostic API for multicore systems communication.
