Furthering its leadership in multicore communications software solutions, PolyCore Software, Inc. (PSI) today announced expanding support of Texas Instruments Incorporated’s (TI) new TMS320C66x digital signal processors (DSPs) generation. Poly-Platform’s unified Multicore Programming Model, in cooperation with the Multicore Association (MCA) standards, simplifies scaling of the same application across TI’s C66x DSPs. In addition, Poly-Platform enabled applications currently running on TI’s C64x+™ DSPs generation will be able transition to TI’s C66x multicore DSPs such as the C6678 using Poly-Platform configuration tools capabilities.
